Design Presentation
The Interior Design class revealed their Presentation Boards to Mr. Anderson. Sandy Sutton also came to watch the students' presentations. Now Mr. Anderson will choose which design he would like best for his Great Room, of course with the approval of Mrs. Anderson.
FFA Awards
Mollie Dykes won a Bronze Emblem award at the National FFA Prepared Speaking event in Indianapolis. Seth Driggers' and Britt Driggers' steers both qualified for the State Fair premium sale. Seth’s market steer was 4th overall in the show, and Britt’s was 6th overall. Congratulations to these students!

Puttin’ On the Hits
will be held in the High School Auditorium on March 4th and 5th starting at 6:30 p.m. with the finals on March 6th starting at 6:00 p.m. The deadline for registration is February 19th.

2009 College Readiness Award
The Arkansas ACT Council recently announced that LHHS has been presented with the 2009 College Readiness Award. The award recognizes the fact that our school has seen a significant increase in ACT composite scores over the last five years, while at the same time increasing the number of students taking the ACT. Less than 10% of the schools in the state were able to accomplish what we have done! This is yet another evidence of the outstanding job that our students and teachers do. Once again, congratulations!
