The Pinnacle Internet Viewer collects information as teachers enter it into their electronic grade books and relays it back to your school's server where parents and students then have access to it using unique ID-numbers and PIN codes. Student information is only available to those holding a student's ID-number and PIN code. When parents or students access their individual student information they are provided with a detailed attendance summary and current report card. The Parent Teacher Organization at Lake Hamilton was established in the summer of 2003 and has been an active and important part of the school since it opened. The organization is dedicated to promoting and supporting the students, the staff, and the curriculum of the Lake Hamilton School District.

Juvenile Diabetes Walk
The Junior High and Middle School Future Business Leaders of America and the JH Career Orientation Club and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America groups raised over one thousand dollars for Juvenile Diabetes and participated in the Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes.

2011-2012 Inclement Weather Make-Up Plan

February 17 and 20, March 16, and April 27, 2012, are scheduled as days on which Lake Hamilton Schools will make-up any previously missed days due to bad weather. In the event that LHSD does not cancel any regular school day before the inclement weather days arrive, no classes will be held and students will be dismissed on these dates.

School closing announcements due to inclement weather will be made through local media, on the district website and by telephone. If you have changed your primary contact number since initial registration or if you have not received any calls from the district this year, you should update your telephone number in order to receive automated notifications. Please contact your child's school office to update your contact information.

Our Mission
Lake Hamilton Junior High serves as a guide for its teenagers as they transition from middle school to high school. Students, parents, educators and community work hand-in-hand to empower students by providing a technologically-current environment, promoting higher-level thinking skills, and encouraging life-long learning. Working together, we advocate responsible citizenship and positive social skills while emphasizing academic skills in mathematics and literacy that will prepare students for the global marketplace.
