Due to difficulty scheduling the auditorium and End Of Course Testing the Student Awards Program scheduled for Friday, May 11 has been moved to the Junior High Gym. Because this is a smaller venue, a separate program will be held for each grade. Having two programs should allow for plenty of space for everyone in addition to parents who may want to attend. We will follow the schedule below:
10:00 - Begin 8th grade program
1:00 - Begin 9th grade program
1:45 - After the program 9th graders will receive yearbooks and go to the Tarmac
2:00 - 8th grade dismissed from class to receive yearbooks and go to the tarmac
3:00 - Dismiss
Please note that we will follow regular lunch schedule as well as 4th period schedules.
School closing announcements due to inclement weather will be made through local media, on the district website and by telephone. If you have changed your primary contact number since initial registration or if you have not received any calls from the district this year, you should update your telephone number in order to receive automated notifications. Please contact your child's school office to update your contact information.
Tutoring is available from 3:05 p.m. to 4:05 p.m.
Math: Monday through Thursday in room 113
Spanish: Tuesday and Thursday in room 104

Lake Hamilton Junior High serves as a guide for its teenagers as they transition from middle school to high school. Students, parents, educators and community work hand-in-hand to empower students by providing a technologically-current environment, promoting higher-level thinking skills, and encouraging life-long learning. Working together, we advocate responsible citizenship and positive social skills while emphasizing academic skills in mathematics and literacy that will prepare students for the global marketplace.
