The Pinnacle Internet Viewer collects information as teachers enter it into their electronic grade books and relays it back to your school's server where parents and students then have access to it using unique ID-numbers and PIN codes. Student information is only available to those holding a student's ID-number and PIN code. When parents or students access their individual student information they are provided with a detailed attendance summary and current report card. The Parent Teacher Organization at Lake Hamilton was established in the summer of 2003 and has been an active and important part of the school since it opened. The organization is dedicated to promoting and supporting the students, the staff, and the curriculum of the Lake Hamilton School District.

Learning is Fun!
The month of February was a fun and exciting time at the Primary School. The children have celebrated 100 days of school with lots of special math activities, snacks, and more. Then there was Valentine’s Day! What’s better than reading special valentines from friends and eating lots of goodies. Finally, local dentists Dr. Cox and Dr. Delee came to present our annual dental hygiene program. They brought toothbrushes and toothpaste to each and every student. Yes, the Primary School students have lots of special activities going on thanks to wonderful principals, teachers and staff who care enough to make learning fun!
Animal Doctor Visit
Dr. Brian Peters, his assistant Christine, python- Morgan, and St. Bernard- Zuri came to talk to the kindergarten and first grade students about taking care of their pets and some of the illnesses that pets can easily contract. He discussed preventative treatments and shared helpful information about things we can do for our pets. Students also enjoyed seeing and petting Zuri the St. Bernard and Morgan the Python! Dr. Brian has two daughters, Kaitlyn (4th grade) and Lilly (1st grade) that attend Lake Hamilton. Thanks so much, Dr. Brian!
Wolf Sportsmanship
We had four football players: Carter Greathouse, Dalton Daniels, Dre Bennet, and Tyler Lindsey come and talk to our class about sportsmanship, good grades and manners. Go Wolves!

2011-2012 Inclement Weather Make-Up Plan

February 17 and 20, March 16, and April 27, 2012, are scheduled as days on which Lake Hamilton Schools will make-up any previously missed days due to bad weather. In the event that LHSD does not cancel any regular school day before the inclement weather days arrive, no classes will be held and students will be dismissed on these dates.

School closing announcements due to inclement weather will be made through local media, on the district website and by telephone. If you have changed your primary contact number since initial registration or if you have not received any calls from the district this year, you should update your telephone number in order to receive automated notifications. Please contact your child's school office to update your contact information.
- 2011 Arkansas Art Educators Region 5 Art Show Winners
