The Lil' Steppin' Wolves will have their performance at the game on Friday, October 11. Please have your daughter at the high school auditorium by 5:45. We will go over the routines with the girls before they perform. Girls will be escorted to the football field by Steppin' Wolves and Steppin' Wolves parents. Your daughter needs to wear her LSW t-shirt, sneakers, and comfortable jeans or shorts suitable for performance. The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Lil' Steppin' Wolves don't have to pay admission to the game. However, all parents, grandparents, and friends must pay gate admission. Parents will not be allowed on the track to film the performance, so get there early to ensure a great seat. We will have an organized pick up after the performances are over.
Reading is vital to every child's success, and raising children to become good readers means getting involved while they are young. Now is the time! Please make plans to visit our Book Fair October 21-25. The children will be able to shop during their class library time, and parents are encouraged to stop by and shop during Parent-Teacher Conference nights Tuesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 24 from 3:30-6:30. We look forward to seeing you at the book fair. And remember all purchases benefit our school.
Yearbooks are now on sale through November 30th. For the second year, they are full color and will cost $22. Please include your child's name along with teacher and indicate that the money is for yearbook when sending to school.
School closing announcements due to inclement weather will be made through local media, on the district website and by telephone. If you have changed your primary contact number since initial registration or if you have not received any calls from the district this year, you should update your telephone number in order to receive automated notifications. Please contact your child's school office to update your contact information.
