Spc. Casey James HenryCurrently serving in Active Duty Army. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, OK and went on to Fort Sam Houston,TX to complete his Combat Medic training. Upon graduating from AIT he was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division, 1-32 Infantry in Fort Drum, NY. He deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan in March of 2011 for a 12 month tour.
Sergeant First ClassHe served 4 years active duty in the Army where he spent time serving in Germany. He has been in the Army Reserves since that time and is now the First Sergeant for the 704th Army Reserves Unit here in Hot Springs. He was deployed to Iraq in 2005. He has two daughters, Amanda and Megan Elmore, that graduated from Lake Hamilton. His wife, Jeri Elmore, teaches at the Intermediate school.
He served four years and was in Japan during 9-11. After the Marines he joined the Army National Guard and guarded the border in New Mexico and also went to Iraq.

Jason OliverHe has served one tour in Iraq among other deployments within the United States. He is the son of Jimmy and Susan Oliver who work here at Lake Hamilton School. He lives in West Monroe, Louisiana and has one daughter named Karson.
Lamar WilsonTwo tours in South Korea, Ft. Campbell, KY, and Ft. Stewart, GA
Graduated basic training in 2004, and ended service in 2008.
She joined the Air Force in 2006, completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, and techinical training at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss. She is a Staff Sargeant with the 728 Air Control Squadron stationed at Eglin AFB in Ft. Walton Beach, FL . In 2010 she spent six months at Q-West and Kirkuk, Iraq. She will deploy to Kuwait in July, 2011.
Monty WatkinsHe served in the U.S. Army from 1984-1987. In 1984, he was a Basic Training Honor Graduate. After completing Airborne School, he was assigned to the 3rd 75th Ranger Battalion where he served until 1987. While serving in the Battalion, he completed Ranger, Sniper, Jungle, Arctic, Special Ops, and Urban Warfare schools of training. Sgt. Watkins was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
He has served full time in the Arkansas Air Guard since 1980. He will be celebrating 30 years in the Air Force in February of 2010. He is currently a Master sergeant and is Joint Force Headquarters Chief Com-Sec Manager at Camp Robinson.
William John Murphy, Jr.US Army Reserve 1988-2000; Arkansas Army National Guard 1990-2009. 142nd Field Artillery Brigade. Spent 5 months in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina as S3 Operations for Plaquimine and St. Bernard Parrishs. One tour in Iraq 2008. Became critically ill and was medivaced out of country and was in Wounded Warrior Program for 1.5 years. Medically retired 9/2009. Field Artillery Officer. Rank: Major Awards: Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal. Nominated for Soldier's Medal - still pending. Completed US Army Command and General Staff College 2009.
William "Page" Akins, IIIServed in the US Navy from 1989 to 2009. During his time he served on the USS Iowa, USS Roosevelt, Camp David, Sicily, Pensacola and retired from at the US Navy Seal Base in Gulfport, MS. During Operation Desert Storm he was serving at Camp David under President George Bush. While at the Nave Seal Base in Gulfport he served in Guam and Operation Desert Freedom. He is currently living in AL and has four children.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1970-72, graduated as an honor graduate from the non-commissioned officer school at Ft. Benning, Georgia, completed the airborne jump school at Ft. Benning, served as a sergeant with the 101st airborne division in Vietnam, and was awarded the air medal and the bronze star.
Glenn Wright
Terry McConHe served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1966-69 and was discharged in September of 69 after a tour in Vietnam with a helicopter company.
